Make Something Unreal Contest Phase 4 Winners
Congratulations to the Contest Phase 4 winners who all deserve a round of applause for their wonderful work with Unreal Tournament 3. The Make Something Unreal contest has yield some great maps and mods from all four contest phases and ultimately shows the versatility and power of Unreal Tournament 3 and Unreal Engine 3. It was amazing to see the progression of work from several teams that developed content from the beginning of the contest and see it evolve each round into a complete project.

    Description: The Ball offers an adventure that puts you in the boots of an explorer who gets stuck in a cavern and bumps onto an ancient complex holding a mysterious ball. While making your way through the internal workings of ancient ziggurats, golden cities, and huge caverns, your only companion is a giant gold and metal-shelled ball.

    Description: gameplay is the Metroid style games. 2D platformer built around a semi-sandbox universe. Granted that Bailter Ray does not have any powerups, pickups, hidden rooms or multiple objectives but it has captured that feeling really well. The project as it stands right now is a game prototype for Unreal Tournament 3 made in 12 weeks as a student project ofPip Robbins, Paul Smith, Zhao Zhang and Rebecca Wong in the RMIT's Game Program.
